JOB OVERVIEW

This role centers on expanding the European market for photovoltaic and energy storage solutions. Responsibilities encompass identifying future business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, setting sales targets, proposing expansion strategies, and devising a business plan to profile clients, predict sales, and offer market insights.

 

PRIMARY TASKS

·       Initiate RFQs, oversee collaborative quoting to ensure timely completion, and secure necessary approvals for project advancement in customer assignments, both for our client's European and Overseas operations.

·       Manage all pertinent commercial documentation tied to our client's EU and Overseas programs.

·       Prepare submissions for annual Customer FX and Materials Pricing Programs.

·       Maintain service parts pricing.

·       Collaborate with the global team to proactively address customer issues and participate in solutions when needed.

·       Establish professional relationships for effective communication with clients, superiors, peers, suppliers, etc., facilitating performance standard achievement.

·       Meet target dates for ECR responses, quotes, etc., and ensure timely communication of relevant information.

·       Identify, recommend, and implement projects for enhanced productivity and cost reduction, collaborating with our Plants on Tech Cost Savings.

·       Participate in APQP plans and feasibility discussions with Program Managers.

·       Collaborate with manufacturing support on new and existing product processes.

·       Update pricing records, forecasts, and other commercial documents as needed.

·       Handle financial matters like piece pricing and tooling for assigned accounts, ensuring issuance, receipt, and billing of purchase orders, and related follow-up.

·       Research market pricing for competitive analysis and benchmarking.

·       Provide customer data to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and customer savings plans.

·       Contribute to presentations and contract negotiations.

·       Assist Supplier Quality or Quality Department with commercial issues related to Assembly Plants or Warranty.

·       Aid Quality in maintaining customer ratings

·       Identify relevant developmental activities for job enhancement.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

·       Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.

·       Minimum 5 years' sales experience.

·       Familiarity with photovoltaic and energy storage industries and related customer development experience.

·       Understanding of relevant products.

·       Strong sense of responsibility, communication skills, and experience in European/North American customer development preferred.

·       Excellent negotiation, planning, delegation, and organizational skills.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office for data analysis and presentations.

·       Hands-on, motivated, results-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.

·       Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.

·       Team-oriented with multitasking abilities.

·       High commitment, sound judgment, follow-through, and initiative.

·       Able to work independently, proactively, and collaboratively.

·       Willingness to travel globally.
