Our client is looking to hire a
Account
Manager (f/d/m) - BMW
Location:
Munich
Responsibilities
· Develop global growth
strategies for existing accounts by analyzing product and service advantages.
· Manage RFQ activities and
customer interactions, ensuring clear and timely communication.
· Handle all commercial aspects
from RFQ to SOP and EOP, including customer negotiations and pricing
strategies.
· Maintain customer
relationships, focusing on purchasing, engineering, and advanced product
development.
· Update and manage commercial
documentation: quotes, cost sheets, and pricing strategies.
· Support customer dispute
resolution and maintain detailed project records.
· Lead cross-functional
projects, strategic planning, and sales forecasting.
· Conduct market research,
competitor analysis, and cost benchmarking.
· Optimize costs for
profitability and analyze ERP data with the financial team.
· Perform business analyses
(e.g., NPV/IRR) and manage engineering changes.
· Drive VAVE strategy internally
and with customers.
· Track win/loss data and
identify new applications for existing products.
· Collaborate with strategic
partners and guide less experienced team members.
Requirements
· University degree in Economics
or Engineering
· Advanced MS Office skills
· Fluent in English and German
· Strong presentation,
communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
· 3+ years of sales experience
in the automotive industry
· Technical background in
manufacturing processes, materials, and products
· Experienced in RFQ management,
program maintenance, sales strategies, and customer communication (BMW
preferred)
· Confident presence in a global
mid-sized company and OEM environment
· Knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001,
IATF 16949) and specific customer requirements
· Familiar with German OEM B2B
portals (BMW preferred)
· Advanced ERP system skills
· Experience in mentoring or leadership
· Based in Munich, with up to
20% travel (domestic and international)
